Fake Food, Weird Ingredients, and Toxic.
Real Food, Simple Ingredients, and Non-Toxic
I'm a busy mom and don't have time to weigh my food or count calories. What I do make time for is making a simple switch from buying toxic fake food for non-toxic real food. I call it my "This for That" plan. In all honesty, my "This for That" list took lot's of personal research, time, planning, money, trial and error, etc (I think you got point). However, it was definitely worth all the spongy gluten free products to find the diamond in the rough. We provide healthy and tasty food options with our "This For That" food list. This food list was developed over years with you in mind and is an ever changing endeavor to find the best non-toxic alternatives that you and your family will enjoy!
Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Miyoko’s Butter, Otto’s Cassava Flour, Kirkland Organic Quinoa, Fresh Ginger, Micro Clustered Water, 365 Organic Lentils, Siete Grain Free Cassava Tortilla Chips, MaraNatha Organic Raw Almond Butter, Nutiva Organic Chia, Kirkland's Organic Coconut Oil, Navitas Organic Cacao, Trader Joe's Organic Blackstrap Molasses and Garlic are some examples of our shopping list.
It’s highly recommended to purchase organic options when fiscally possible. If purchased conventionally then it has a higher content of pesticides, herbicides and is most likely ladened with GMO’s.
Shaving "Cream":
Toxic shaving cream anyone? Uh, no gracias. Instead of those nasty toxic shaving creams I have always used organic coconut oil. Place organic coconut oil in a shower safe container and use wherever you wanna weed wack. Once in your hands, the coconut oil will melt which makes it super easy to apply.
Coffee Shower Scrub:
I've never been a coffee drinker but I sure love my organic coffee enema's. I am definitely my GMa's granddaughter because I never want to waste good food. So I use the unused coffee grounds as my shower scrub. I simply place the coffee grounds in a shower safe container combined with organic coconut oil and apply evenly on my body in a circular motion. You will be revived and smooth as a babies bum. I recommend using your scrub in the morning or early afternoon unless you want to be climbing the walls at night.
Body Wash:
For a mama who is always on the go. I like to combine my Everyone for Everybody 3 in 1 soap with a non-solidified organic oil to use as my body wash. This helps eliminate the need to use toxic lotions by moisturizing my body and helps save time. It's a great 2 x 1.
Hair Treatment:
If you know me, then you know that I am obsessed with organic coconut oil. I am like the grandpa from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" who used Windex for everything. I warm my organic coconut oil and add a few drops of tea tree oil and rosemary then massage into my hair. I either leave it on overnight or wash it after a few hours.
Hair Cleanse:
Essential oils are an easy way to incorporate into your hair regimen. I like placing a few drops of tea tree and rosemary oil into my shampoo and conditioner to help refresh and cleanse the scalp. Rosemary is also known to help encourage hair growth. Double woo hoo!
Chip Clips:
I am so obsessed with organization. Before baby, I had a type A personality. Nowadays, I get my kicks on using IKEA's chip clip's. I use these chip clips for all my cupboard and refrigerated packages to prevent unwelcome creatures from getting up in my food. Super affordable, easy to use and very versatile.
Magnets:
As a resourceful mama, I don't spend gobs of $ on natural laundry detergent. And I don't use toxic non-biodegradable laundry detergent products either. I'm an Oregonian girl at heart. So I use my handy dandy reusable magnets for all my laundry detergent needs.
SPEMPSEF is an acronym that we use on a daily basis to reset and restore my mindset that helps me to focus on what is most important to help maintain a healthy outlook on life.

Peppermint has got to be my # 1 essential oil due to it's versatility. It can be used topically, internally and aromatically. I recommend this vigorous oil to combat fevers, migraines, muscle pain, respiratory issues, tummy ache, freshen breathe, increase energy, promote hair growth and as an anti-cancer agent.
My # 2 go to oil is my women's hormonal blend. If your an oil gal then you know that Clary Sage is a must for helping to calm and soothe female hormones. This floral scented oil becomes even more powerful when combined with other powerful hormone balancing oils.
My # 3 favorite oil is Lemon. Lemon is my go to oil because of it's affordability. Lemon serves multiple purposes in my family especially when it comes to detoxifying the body and is known as an anti-tumor agent.
My # 4 favorite is Copaiba Oil. I personally used Copaiba during my chaotic and stressful "breakdown" phase and it definitely helped calm my nodule.
My # 5 favorite is Lavender Oil. Lavender is perfect to get that little one in sleep mode. Just add a few drops with a carrier oil and massage onto feet, spine and chest. Works like a charm.
My # 6 favorite is Tea Tree Oil. I love to add a few drops to my shampoo to cleanse my scalp. If you have a random blemish, then simply place the oil with a carrier oil directly on the blemish overnight and bam…it’s gone in the morning! It’s also great on nails to help with dry cuticles. Apply on the chest with a carrier oil to help loosen mucus and stubborn coughs.

As a former Dancer, Track Athlete and University of Oregon College Cheerleader I knew the determination and dedication it took to have a fit and healthy physique. Dance and stunting was my happy place. It was my dopamine (feel-good hormone).
In the baby and toddler days, my "exercise" consisted of walks on the beach, bending to pick up baby toys and randomly running after Camila. Mila was a sweet and joyous baby. This fed my oxytocin (parent-child bonding phase).
When you shake your groove thang you naturally will increase your metabolic rate, stimulate appetite, digestion, breakdown of nutrients and absorption, increase oxygen consumption, raise your breathing rate, heart rate and contraction strength.
